The flu vaccine provides the best protection available against an unpredictable virus that can cause severe illness.

You can get a free NHS flu vaccine if:

You’re aged 65 years old or over (including if you’ll be 65 years old by 31 March 2024)

You have certain long-term health conditions

You’re pregnant

You’re a frontline worker in a social care setting who cannot get a vaccination from your employer
